All about me
My name is Rachel Chisholm, better known as Ray Chisholm or Miss Chisholm during my teaching career.
I was a teacher in Bearsden, then became the headteacher of Kilchattan Primary School on the Isle of Colonsay, Deputy headteacher of Tobermory High School on Mull, and before I retired, headteacher of Easdale Primary School on the Isle of Seil. Although I don't teach any more, I have many contacts in education and like to hear all that's going on. I'm still a member of the GTC and have been put through the Disclosure procedure by the church of Scotland.
I've always loved telling stories, and have only recently begun to write down the ones I used to tell to classes of children over many years.
I write stories for all ages and any age. I write for friends' children and for children I don't know very well.
